Party Party Party ON!
If you're looking to class up a birthday party a little bit, I have come up with a few ideas that may be of assistance to you.
First and foremost, catering. It smoothes the process along and it makes the people attending feel important enough to be there and stay there.
Second, the cocktail hour. It does not need to be anything fancy, but definitely fix the display of drinks and glasses so that it looks like you took the time to think about this get together.
Third, add a bit of who you are to the area. My family loves open porch parties and we love to have the fire pit going, but on nights that the fire is only needed as an accessory we use our stand up fire pit. It gives a nice cozy feeling to the outside setting and provides a great deal of warmth on a chilly evening.
Fourth, the balloons. Be sure to coordinate colors and themes with each other to successfully complete any party decor. My husband is a jail guard and for his birthday party we were able to get a party company to set up the balloons like a jail cell. It made for a great photo booth and lots of laughs.
Those are simply a few pointers that add a little pizazz to any party, but the most important tip I can offer is to be creative. Think out of the box and have fun with it because when you have fun with it, people have fun enjoying it.
